Bretagne is an affectionate little girl that will win your heart. Last month she was adopted by a lovely person with whom she was having the most wonderful life together, but this happiness was ended due to a tragic accident which took her beloved adopter across the bridge. She is now looking for her new best friend! She was brought in to the shelter as a stray, so we don’t know what experiences have made her somewhat easy to startle. But, she does recover quickly and day by day, Bretagne’s confidence is growing stronger. She loves to be petted and loved on, and she responds with a few grateful kisses! She will sometimes jump up on you and even be a bit mouthy to show her adoration, so she would be best in a home with no young children. Bretagne is mostly okay with other dogs, and sometimes even plays with the resident dogs in her foster’s home. We think she would play too hard for cats. Bretagne is very curious on walks and although she is usually okay on the leash, she could pull towards the item of her curiousity. Bretagne doesn’t like to be left outside alone, and she makes herself heard on that subject. Her house manners are quite good. Bretagne would like to be in a home where there is some human companionship most of the time.
