About Bryant – ADOPTED

Meet sweet, gentle, 7 year old Bryant. He came into rescue when his family lost their home. It is clear from his trusting and loving personality that he has only known love and kindness. Bryant is very smart and knows a bunch of obedience commands. In his past life, he had his own TV that was hooked to a webcam pointing to the front yard. When people appeared on ‘his’ TV, Bryant knew they were in his front yard and would run to the front door to greet them. Having been trained this way to be on alert, he barks at passersby – but not excessively – and will stop immediately when called. In fact, he is very responsive and looks at you attentively with big doe-like eyes and perked ears when you speak. If he doesn’t already understand what you are saying, he is trying to understand. He loves people, loves walks and playing ball endlessly! He will fetch the ball and drop the ball at your feet or in your hands. He walks well on a leash and plays well with other dogs. He gets along with cats, is great with children of all ages, is housebroken and not destructive at all.

When he came into rescue, Bryant had a growth on his toe that had to be removed along with the toe. He is approaching the end of recovery from that operation, and the doctor gave him a clean bill of health. No one would guess he is missing a toe watching him play with his foster brothers and run full speed after a ball.
