About Catalina
Introducing 4 year old Catalina affectionately known as “Lina” to her foster Mom. She is on the smaller side at 47 Lb., and runs around like a puppy with her fosters two goldens. She gets along well with other dogs, loves toys and will even toss them around to entertain herself. Another one of her fav’s is to go for a ride in the car, she will jump right in. She likes to sleep on the cool tile floor or a dog bed. In the morning, if she thinks you are awake, she will greet you with affection. Poor, sweet Lina was found on the streets of Taiwan having to scavenge to stay alive! Life on the streets of Taiwan is suicide for a dog yet, she managed to keep herself going until she could be rescued and brought to the US. She has a small patch of missing hair on top of her nose, she prefers the shade to the sun, she doesn’t like her tail being pulled. She will chew paper thinking it is a toy. Catalina enjoys curling up near or under your desk while you work. She is a “velcro golden” who wants to be near her human(s) so we’re seeking someone who can bring her to work, or is home most of the time. We never want her to go hungry again. Her needs are minimal she needs to be treated with kindness, perhaps go for a walk, and be fed nutritious food. Oh…did I mention TOYS? Lots of toy will be a big plus!
