About Ernie

Hi, my name is Ernie!  I am about 10 months old and am very much a puppy.  My foster mom tells me I am part Golden, part something else.  She thinks I might be part border collie because I like herding things!  I might be a little timid at first, but I warm up quickly and am a total love bug who is very eager to please.  I go potty outside, and am very smart.  I need a family that will give me lots of exercise because my foster mom says I haven’t had much experience walking on leash.  I’d also love to take an obedience class and maybe an agility class with my forever family so I can show them how quickly I learn.  I move fast and am light on my feet…and will impress you by how well I am able to balance like I am on a balance beam!  I love playing with my foster brother and would really like to have a doggie playmate to hang out with.  Someone called me a professional ‘foodie’ because I really love eating, which is good because I am still growing.
