Lunah the Lab
This lovely celestial creature is Luna, a beautiful cream colored Labrador Retriever. She arrived into rescue with her golden brother Soleil. Luna is about 1½ years old and has an abundance of labbie energy and needs to channel that energy to lose about 10 lbs. She is great with kids and dogs of all sizes but no cats! Even with her larger than life personality, Luna has excellent house manners but does need a bit of work on her leash manners as she prefers to walk her people. Luna craves human attention and has become her foster mom’s shadow. This Velcro nature should abate once she is in her permanent home and has assimilated into her new family. She just wants to know she is loved. Like all young labs, Luna needs a home that will provide a lot of daily exercise. Once properly leash trained she could be a great jogging buddy but you would have to work up to that level slowly. Luna is looking for a fresh start. She is used to having other dogs around so a home where daily companionship (human or canine) is provided is a must.
