Malia is a delightful tail wagging medium sized girl with a couple of fun secrets. (1) She looks like a blond Lab but, she is actually a full Golden Retriever girl with a lovely summer cut. And (2) she will actually be 10 years old this August 22 but, guess what – she acts younger than her 6 year old foster bro.
She is a lover who will lick your face as much as you want. She has lived with children from 1 to 17 and they all love her. Same is true with other dogs of every size; we don’t know about cats so, that may be a risk that we don’t want to take.
Malia has great house manners; she loves to have the run of the house and the yard and sleeping in her foster parents’ bedroom along with her foster brothers. She loves toys, especially balls and she leaves peoples’ things alone. She is also very happy and well mannered in the car. She responds to “come” and she loves to have people whistle for her. She is working on her leash behavior and is learning to be a fun girl to walk with, too. She will sit on request and she is happy to use the dog door.
Malia is a perfect girl and without any doubt she is going to bring a lot of joy and love to a lucky family.
