Meet Henry – Adopted!

Meet Henry, who after 13 ½ years of devotion to one family, has found himself in rescue looking for his ‘rest of my life’ family. It is heartbreaking.

Henry is an awesome golden. He is housetrained, loves to go for walks, and is pretty much chill the rest of the day. His foster mom works so he spends most of his days napping.

Henry is in great shape considering his years. He has some arthritis in his hind end and is on a daily NSAID. He has a great appetite (we give him as much he wants…he deserves it) and loves his treats. He is a tall gent, and a healthy weight. Henry has had one seizure in foster care (he has been with us since mid-November) and came out of it completely fine. Our understanding from his former family is that he had his first (and only to this point) four months ago.

Right now Henry takes two to three, twenty minute walks around the neighborhood a day. He motors, but likes to stop and sniff, and greet people too.  He is great with all the dogs he has met, and would be fine with cats. He lets you know when he wants to go out, but prefers to be indoors. He is quiet, not a barker and would make wonderful company for binge-watching things your family doesn’t want to watch on Netflix…never complains about the selection.

Henry’s ID# is 4374 and his adoption fee is $300
