Rawlins, lovingly known as Rocky, had a bit of a stay-cation while his foster pop had to go out of town for business. It is always wonderful to get a new perspective on a pup! In this home, Rocky was the one and only and his Velcro nature blossomed. Maybe because he had been with us for a while, maybe because he wasn’t competing for dad’s attention with the rest of his pack, maybe because the temperature dropped below 95 that week AND he was at the beach, who knows, but Rocky is a new man dog. Here is a peek at his beach day:
Like many tourists, he visited local beach pubs, the sights and sounds that the harbor brings. He is pretty chill, always coming in for some love. Like most seniors, if nothing to do he will sleep away his day, but is always up for a walk or a trip to the park. Rocky is housebroken, has great indoor and leash manners, likes his pack and would be well suited to a home with other dogs. He is fine when left alone, he will just nap, but greet you with a big smile and wag of his tail when you come home. We have no history with him and cats but being and old guy he is not too quick so cats would probably make a clean getaway.
If you are looking for a wing man at the beach this summer, or a foot-warmer (an awesome benefit in the winter); someone to watch TV with and be your new best friend, Rocky is your guy. If you have completed the application process – which includes a home visit – and are interested in meeting this pup, contact firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know a bit about you and the life Rocky will have with you!
