Aiden was a husky / golden mix who’s owner didn’t have time for him. He had some resource guarding issues and hence, bounced around before we decided to send him to a board and train for more consistency and some focus on some behavior skills, including leash walking. Turns out…he was “all husky” in our Golden world and just needed someone who understands that breed.
Networking him through social media and other rescue outlets, the perfect match was found only he lived in Tuscon AZ. Special dogs take special considerations so after facetiming and hearing about his experience with 2 prior huskies plus a golden mix, his life and his sole interest in Aiden, SCGRR approved the special request to adopt. It was an 18+ hour drive and overnight stay to make sure it was a perfect fit, and it is. The last message we received was “He’s my baby now. He’s not going anywhere!”
