Caleb (his given name, Luke) came into rescue on July 30, abandoned by his family, emaciated, and overall in poor health. He had supreme dental issues that prevented him from enjoying anything to eat.
In the short time he was with his foster family, Luke was so loved. He spent months with his new furry family and enjoyed his afternoons sunning and watching his new family play. His health declined and Luke let us know he was ready to move on.
On October 11th, just 2½ short months after he came into rescue, Luke crossed the Rainbow Bridge with his loving foster family by his side.
His foster mom says “He was a sweet gentle soul who has found his place in peace on the other side of the bridge. Luke was a really special boy – He truly had a pure golden heart.”
