Sweet Dallas is an owner surrender because her family could not afford the medical care she needed. Brought directly to our vet, she had TPLO surgery to repair a rupture of her cranial cruciate ligament on 4/15 and is now in foster care.

Dallas will need to be kept calm for six to eight weeks, only let out of her pen for potty walks. After that time, her exercise can be increased slowly.

From her Foster Mom:

Dallas definitely is not wanting to put weight on her injured knee, but otherwise this girl wants to move and play. She is not amused being confined, and like many humans would be, is already tired of this limited movement thing.  I’m holding strong though and will keep her in a small space. She’ll just have to get lots of extra love and pets instead.
