Little Duncan arrived on October 19, transported from Mexico after being hit by a car. He suffered a fractured pelvis and tibia, and was transported directly to our orthopedic specialist, Dr. Schulman at Animal Medical Center. There Duncan underwent two surgeries to repair his injuries.
Dr. Schulman feels very optimistic that if he is properly cared for during his rehab he will (hopefully) have no lasting long-term effects.
Duncan is currently in foster care with a family who will be eligible to adopt him after his long 6-8 week immobilization period and rehabilitation is complete.
Please send your healing vibes to sweet Duncan!
