Meet Bodhi – Adopted!

Hi my name is Bodhi. I am a Labby/Golden mix which is why I look a little different.

I was found out in the desert with my running buddies and the shelter people came and brought us in from the hot sun. I was lucky and SCGRR sent a foster mom to come for me and help me prepare me for my forever home. I had my vet check, got “fixed” (didn’t see that one coming) and began learning the tricks of being a dog. I have been frightened and afraid of many thing for a long time. Now, I am learning that I don’t have to be scared any more.

I am very comfortable with my foster dog siblings. I have learned to play and share toys with them and even cuddle at bed time. I was not house broken but that only took a week and I have mastered the doggy door. I like my walks with the other dogs….I think in time hiking would be fun. Car rides are sometimes scary because I don’t know when I am going. I like the grandkids because they are playful but I will chase cats, that is really fun! I am quick learner and I want to please. Best of all I am gentle, I have a Golden heart, I give kisses and love belly rubs. My foster mom says I have accomplished a lot in a short period of time, sometimes she gets tears in her eyes when she thinks of me leaving.
