Angie Rose – Adopted!
Meet Angie Rose, who could very well be the sweetest little Golden ever! Weighing in at under 60lbs, Angie is looking for a human (or two…or more) to love her.
Angie came into rescue with a cyst on her head, which has since been removed, so until her fur grows back she does have a ‘reverse mohawk’ of sorts going on.
She is eager to please, and happy to retrieve…although she isn’t great about bringing the ball back to the person who threw it yet. You could say she is a retriever-in-progress, so to speak. Other than a bit of begging, Angie has excellent house manners and is a gentle soul. She loves her walks, and is also happy hanging out with her Golden foster sister.
She has not been tested around cats, and she seems pretty interested in the squirrels she sees on her walks. Angie doesn’t react to other dogs (big or small) that she has seen around the neighborhood. She loves everyone she meets.
Angie knows some basic commands, and would benefit by some training with her forever family. She did have some initial hesitation about getting into a car, but her foster parents have been working with her on that and are making great progress.
Overall, Angie is a very well-mannered girl who simply craves attention. We are looking for an adopter who will give her all the exercise, attention, and most of all the love that she needs.
