We rescued this sweet girl on Cinco de Mayo (5/5/19) and was brought into the US from South Korea with the help of Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue.
Deva came to us under weight, scared of many things and was healing from heart worm disease.
In November 2019, she was diagnosed with cancer. We were devastated when we found out and in the process of dealing with it we made a bucket list. The bucket list included many things like camping, off-roading in the Jeep, snow day, dog beach, lunch at a winery, puppachino from Starbucks, Peesha (aka pizza!), 4×4 & fries from In-n-Out, pictures with Santa, lots of treats in treat balls, s’mores in the living room, doggie fort, homemade dog cookies, giant donut toy and lots of love.
We are so thankful Deva came into our lives, even though it was such a short time she made a huge impact on our lives and are forever grateful for what she taught us.
One of our most favorite things is how she loved to watch T.V.
Now, about the starfish, toothpaste, crayons, pencils, pens, Kleenex, trash, tray of cornbread, bag of flatbread, wind-up chicken toy and everything she took off the kitchen counters…
AND the handful of times she ran out the door & down the street!! Lol!
She always kept us on our toes and there was never a dull moment.
Duke was the best big furry brother and always tried to take care of and comfort her.
We are forever grateful for the Deva and will miss her so much.
We love you baby girl!!!!!! ❤️🐾❤️
