Meet Dollie and her new Family!

As you can see Dollie isn’t a Golden Retriever. She is a Chocolate Lab. She was left tied up in front of the shelter on July 3rd with her buddy a golden retriever. She didn’t have a tag or chip so no one knew who she belonged to. She was in the shelter until July 12th when a volunteer from SCGRR brought her into rescue. We think she had a couple of litters and was living in the back yard. Despite her living conditions Dollie is very sweet – loves her tummy rubs and would love being the center of your world. She doesn’t like sharing the attention and can get a little aggressive – not towards her humans but other dogs. She is housebroken, needs leash training since she PULLS on the leash. She knows some basic commands, sit & down. Dollie is also a counter surfer. She loves checking out what you have left on the counter for her….. Dollie would do best in a home with NO other dogs, a human or two that would shower her with all the attention she so deserves, no children under the age of 10 yrs old and no cats.

Dollie found her new forever home!
