Elisabeth, “Princess Elsa” Elsa is a gorgeous white golden mix. She also has the most beautiful green eyes that show much love.
Elsa was a stray from a shelter. While she was at the shelter she delivered three still born puppies. She became very depressed, would not eat and was very sad. We took her to her wonderful fosters home and within a few days she perked up and her true personality came out. She is still a little shy when confronted with new situations, but warms up quickly once she feels safe.
She loves everyone she meets and everyone loves her. She will stand/lie and wait for her food, and then slowly walk to her dish to eat. She is obedient, and she will not nip at a hand near her dish. She loves her toys and likes to throw them up in the air and then retrieve them.
Elsa is so very gentle, and she has lots of love/cuddles to give. She also happily accepts the same back. She loves to be petted, brushed and loved.
Elsa loves walks, and is great on her leash. She is good with other dogs (cats unknown), and loves to play with kids (older is better due to her size). Elsa does not jump on people or furniture. She greets people lovingly and gently.
Princess Elsa is a near perfect “lady”. She loves her doggy door so she can go in and out when she wants but spends most of her time during the day outside playing with her toys and the sprinklers.
Elsa has good house manners. She will dig a hole in the dirt to lay in for her naps.
One important thing to note is that Elsa is very frightened of riding in the car. She will need a family that is willing to help her learn that car rides can be a fun thing and accept that car-vacations are probably not in her future.
Elsa is a gentle, sensitive and a smart golden mix who would love a forever home with someone that is home a lot . A quiet calmer home like she is in now.
