Gentry – Adopted!

I’m happy to announce that Gentry our 10 year old found his furever home this last Saturday.

Gentry came into rescue from the East Valley Shelter.  I was able to pull him as a private when he was due out.   He was in bad shape, skin was dry, fur was brittle, had a bad ear infection and his eyes had a green discharge.  His teeth were worn down and he wasn’t neutered.  I took him to AMC for a much need vet check and grooming.

Once at his foster home he was still a little apprehensive but he soon got into the routine with the help of Oliver the resident golden.  I want to thank first time fosters, Kate & Dave for stepping up and fostering this sweet boy.  He got lots of attention and love.  Went to a couple of our events which he was a hit with everyone.

He went up on the website and I got only one inquiry from Cheri & Gary.  I read Cheri’s email and thought WOW they sound perfect for Gentry.  I forwarded her email to Kate & Dave and they thought the same.  I called Cheri and arranged for a meet & greet.  They were planning on visiting their daughter in O.C. over the holiday weekend and so it was the perfect time to meet Gentry.  The meet & greet went really well.  They have a very sweet little Malti-poo female named Kaia who seemed fine with having a big brother.  Both dogs got along nicely.  It was a great day for everyone involved.

Gentry now Beau is doing fabulously in his new home.
