Meet Grady and his new Family!
Meet Grady– an 8 year old redheaded goofball with lots of doggie hugs and kisses to give.
Grady came into rescue underweight by 10-15 lbs and will need a family committed to help him gain weight in a healthy way. Don’t let this boy’s age fool you– he has the energy and exuberance of a much younger dog and will need regular exercise to help keep him out of mischief.
Grady walks well on the leash, likes car rides and knows some commands like “sit, down and shake.” He does need to work on his house manners (he tends to disrupt your computer time by putting his paws on the keyboard if you stop petting him for too long!). Grady doesn’t seem to mind other dogs, but would really prefer to be your one and only love so that he can soak up all the affection he has been missing.
Grady settles down nicely in the evenings and loves to say good night to his human foster brothers and then cuddle up to his foster mom and dad. He has not been cat tested. Because of his tendency to jump up and give full-body hugs, we think kids ages 8 and up would be best.
