Meet Hopi and his new Family!
Meet Hopi, a sweet, affectionate and mellow fluffy 7 year old golden boy. Hopi came into rescue when his family needed to move but could not take him with them.Hopi was very loved his whole life. He walks nicely on the leash and likes receiving compliments from the many passers-by who stop to pet him, but he is a low to moderate energy dog. He enjoys car rides and likes to think he can drive! He is not destructive and leaves his foster family’s belongings alone. He loves being brushed, and because of his fluffiness, his family will need to commit to brushing him daily to keep his fluff under control. He is a bit of a beggar at the dinner table, but otherwise has very nice house manners. Hopi is good with children and likes other dogs- he will chase cats, so no kitty friends please. Hopi would like to live in a house where at least one of his persons is home most of the time. According to his former family, he is afraid of loud noises, but he was unfazed by the vacuum cleaner. Hopi does have a history of seizures but is not on medication.
