Jaxon – Adopted!
Meet Jaxon and get ready to be infused with a huge dose of cuteness. He is young and a bit on the smaller side. He is very loving and really ready for his furever home. He has nervous energy but calms down quick when he knows he is in a safe environment.
He is currently working on basic commands and doing very well. He is almost completely housebroken. He walks well on the leash and loves going for walks. He is excited to go in the car but calms down quickly.
Jaxon did know one trick when he came to the rescue – how to do the Happy dance – no not Pharrell’s, but Snoopy from the Peanuts cartoon. You know the one – where he stands on his hind legs and walks around with a huge grin on his face. It is amusing but some small children can get intimidated by his performance. Though Jaxon really loves humans of all sizes, he would probably benefit in a household with kids 10 years of age or older. He has been fine with other dogs, although a bit shy.
It appears that Jaxon did not have the easiest life previously and suffers from separation anxiety. He would do well where someone is home a great deal of the time. He would also do well with structured training classes. With patience and training he is not long from being the perfect companion. He has a lot of love to give – and need we mention again overwhelming cuteness.
