Kamile – Adopted!

Say hello to sweet Kamile, a beautiful one year old English Cream golden girl. She came into rescue from the shelter and is looking for the perfect family to call her very own. She is very loving, and while she still has quite a bit of “puppy” in her, she is pretty mellow for a one year old.

Kamile is great with people and dogs and even gets along well with her foster’s cats (all four of them!) She is housebroken, sleeps through the night and isn’t a barker or a digger. She is working on her commands like sit and stay but will need some patience and gentle reminders to help her grow into a well-behaved young lady.

She is getting better walking on her leash but still pulls quite a bit so continued training is a must! She is also working on sharing her toys with her foster brother, she can sometimes be a bit protective of them.

Kamile is very content just to be where her people are, she will cuddle on the couch while you watch TV, but she is also content to sleep on the floor as long as she is near her humans. She loves, loves, loves to be outside, whether she is chasing a ball or just running in the yard burning some energy! She hasn’t been pool tested, but had a great time running and playing outside in the rain, not wanting to come in, so her foster mom thinks she will love anything to do with water.

Kamile loves to play but also understands quiet time and will relax while you watch TV or work on the computer. She has been left home alone for an hour or so with no problems, and while she does like to carry shoes around, she doesn’t seem to want to chew them. She has lots of puppy energy but she doesn’t play rough so kids at least 4 or 5 would probably be best.
