Kona Has Been Adopted and is With Her New Furever Family
Kona is a beautiful yellow Labrador Retriever looking for her forever family. She has been bounced around a bit in her short 5 years but that does not phase her at all. She is sweet, loving, gentle, and very happy! We call it Lab-Happy…infectious!
Kona is housebroken with great house and leash manners and loves her walks and playtime at the park. Also, balls! She also loves the water so swimming and the beach tops her list as a favorite past time. Kona loves the company of people and pooches alike. She is great with kids and dogs of all sizes and is happy romping and playing but then ready to snuggle for a movie or a nap.
Kona is currently on a successful weight-reduction program (which is basically eating less and exercising more) and has successfully lost a few pounds in her short time in foster care. Her passion for chasing tennis balls has helped in her weight-loss. She still has more to lose but with dedication from her new family, that should be no problem at all. Yep, that means no movie snacks…yet.
Kona loves the company of other dogs so another playmate in the home would be wonderful. (She made me put that last bit in there. What is it about her that you just can’t say no?)
