Liberty – Adopted!

Liberty is a happy and sweet girl looking for a loving home.

Her previous owner’s family was no longer able to care for her after her owner passed away. Unfortunately Liberty spent most of her life locked in a bedroom where she ate, slept, and went to the bathroom. She never saw sunlight nor was she able to play and lay in the grass. She has now been in a loving foster home and has blossomed into a happy, healthy girl who loves to be outside. She enjoys playing with her foster golden siblings, lounging with her foster parents, going on walks and hikes and playing with her toys.

Liberty is a good-natured dog and shares food, toys and her foster parent’s attention. She is not quite as active as her rambunctious foster brother & sister who are only 1 and 2 because they are just silly pups but she does enjoy their company.

She is a wonderful companion for the family member who works from home or stays home during the day. Being that she has been alone most of her life she does have a little anxiety at night. She prefers to be in view of her foster parents or even in their bed (but don’t worry, she’s not a bed hog!)

She is very well-behaved in the house but has had accidents if left inside for too long. She will therefore not go to a home where she has no company during the day. We’re looking for a home where she will be walked regularly, she wants to feel the wind in her hair and take time to smell the roses – really!

She would love a home that eats their breakfast on the patio so she can sit by your side and listen to the birds. Most of all, she needs love and kindness as all Goldens should.
