Mimsy Mae *Always in our hearts
Mimsy Mae arrived at SCGRR in April, 2016 at 14 yrs old – relinquished by owners moving to a condo that didn’t allow dogs.
Mae was such a sweet, gentle, tolerant and faithful dog. There was not a person she met that she did not like. This girl had so much energy and excitement which was only to be slowed down by her worn out weak legs. She just wanted to run and play and boy did she try!! She fought the fight to the very end!! During her short time here she learned what it was like to be a part of the family and she was always right by your side no matter where you were!! We say we do this for the dogs but with Mae it went both ways. Not only were we able to provide her with the comforts and love that she never knew prior, but she provided us with so much love, happiness and enjoyment. She ALWAYS had a smile on her face and a wagging tail to go with it. We were very lucky to have her even for the short time it was. She was part of the family and she will be dearly missed. We know that she is now running as fast as she can chasing all those tennis balls!!! We love you Mae!!
RIP sweet girl and THANK YOU TO THE LAWRENCE FAMILY. It was only a few months, but Mimsy Mae knew love, comfort and dignity. We are so blessed for our fosters!!
