Meet Murphy *Always in our hearts
Murphy was rescued off the streets of Taiwan and brought to Southern California by SCGRR in July 2015 to find his forever home. During a vet visit, a growth was identified on his gum which unfortunately turned out to be cancer – spindle cell sarcoma. The original timeline was estimated about 6 to 12 months for Murphy. So Murphy was admitted to the SCGRR Save A Life permanent foster program.
When he first arrived at his permanent foster family’s home in Costa Mesa, Murphy was very reserved and would not wag his tail. Within just a few weeks he transformed – wagging his tail, greeting his foster mom at the door with his 2 fur foster siblings (Florence & Hudson) and he began to play! His foster mom reported his is such a sweet love bug – he just wanted to be near her and be loved on. He would sit beside her, give her his paw and curled is as if to hold her hand.
Murphy lost his battle at the end of June 2016.
