Meet Roland and his new Family!
Hi, I’m Roland. I was found at a local shelter. Ever since I was rescued, I’ve been staying with a really nice family. When I first arrived, I didn’t know how to play. I was a little unsure just being in the house. Now I romp from dawn to dusk with my foster brother. He’s taught me about toys, and wrestling and playing fetch. Don’t be fooled by my age, I’m very young at heart.
What I didn’t have to learn is how to be a lap dog. My foster mom says I’m the best at cuddling ever. I like to burrow myself between knees, or behind backs. I just can’t get close enough to my people. I like to curl up at her feet while she’s working, content just to be in the same room with her.
I’ve a very adaptable dog and I’ve been told I learn quickly. I just want to please my humans. I like to go on walks, and my leash manners are coming along nicely. I’ll be happy to keep practicing with my new family.
