Whitney – Adopted!
Hi, my name is Whitney. I was rescued from the shelter by the one of the volunteers at SCGRR.
I’m on the small side but have a heart of gold. I am very easy going and love hanging out with my foster mom & dad. I also love playing with my foster sibs, – the four legged kind.
I have great house manners, housebroken, I leave my foster parents belongings alone except that I do enjoy carrying their slippers around the house. I don’t chew them I just like having something in my mouth.
I love playing fetch with my foster parents. They say I like carry a tennis ball or toy around the house or yard. I guess that is the retriever in me….. I enjoy my daily walks but will bark at other dogs – not aggressively just wanting to say HI. I could use a little more training in the leash walking. I don’t know any commands, but I would love to learn.
I sleep well at night, I have no problem in the crate. I enjoy curling up and snoozing next to my foster parents. I can be left alone during the day and have no problems. I would love to have another sibling to play with though. I don’t know how I would do with cats or small children. So right now no cat or children under the age of 8 yrs old.
