Yarden is a beautiful playful youngster that was turned on by his retired owners because they could not keep up with his puppyness. He is a very smart little boy- he knows sit, down, shake, stay and picks up new commands easily.

He is housetrained and gets along well with his older foster golden brother. He is loving, vocal, friendly and happy to be the center of attention.

Yarden has only one issue and that he is  food-dominant with other dogs. We don’t know his early history since he was picked up at a shelter and may have spent time on the streets fighting for his food. To be on the cautious side he cannot go to a home with young children. While he may be best placed as an only dog, with the proper training and adherence to a training schedule, he could go with a family who is willing to work on the issue as set forth in a protocol prepared for him by an excellent dog behaviorist trainer.
