Zambia, (Melody) is the name her fosters are calling her!
Melody was originally purchased by a young couple who loved her and trained her as a puppy, but, realized that the wife was allergic to the dog hair and they asked SCGRR if they could help find another loving home for her to live. She has always been well loved and this shows in her sweet good-tempered nature. She plays well with other dogs usually playing the role of the submissive, loves children, enjoys her walks and loves playing fetch. When in the house she is respectful to furniture and established boundaries and loves to cuddle under your feet with whoever is working nearby. In the mornings she is VERY loving and can’t wait for her belly rubs, feeding, and her walk! She basically furrows herself into your body for a cuddle. She is appropriately curious about new things and is a very quick learner. She gets very excited to meet new people but calms down fast once the petting begins. She would ADORE having a playful fur sibling to chase, romp and wrestle with. Kids to follow about would be awesome too but not essential. She is curious about cats and she is young enough that you and the cat should be able to teach her how to be around them appropriately. She loves to ride in the car and lays down and behaves herself like a little lady! She is potty trained but when she gets extremely excited to see you she might have a little accident!
