Hi my name is Ziggy. I am a beautiful red-golden retriever. I am neutered, male, 9 years old and weigh 77 lbs.
I came to this rescue because my family couldn’t help me with all the noise and anxiety of living near Camp Pendleton….they drop bombs there! Geezzz, what’s a guy to do with all that noise…Run? Hide? Shake? Pant? You name it..it freaked me out….so my mom and vet put me on medications for my anxiety….and then decided to give me a chance in a much quieter home.
I have to say… It is so much better for me where the noise are normal levels. My foster mom has taken me off medications and I am doing very well. I am much more myself now! I have furry foster brothers that I get along with very well. My previous home did have another dog and they said I got along with cats. I can’t imagine children being a problem…cuz I love everybody …but since we don’t know too much about that part of my past…children over 7 might be ideal.
I have been to the vet for a check up…currently up to date on my shots and because I had an X-ray they were able to tell that my hips and spine and organs are all normal. I am healthy , beautiful, loving, very well mannered, polite, good on the leash, quiet, ride in the car nicely and like to swim. I could go on…cuz my foster Mom says I am such a perfect gentleman!
