Meet Ziva and her new Family!
This “Good Girl” as her foster dad has tagged her is Ziva. Somehow she ended up at the shelter dirty, matted and overweight. She was probably put in the yard with an open bag of cheap dog food and left to fend for herself, poor thing. Thankfully her early life has not affected her goldeness in the least. Except for being overweight and a little kennel cough she is a healthy, wonderful, sweet and loving girl!
She is a “teddy bear” of a dog. She likes to get attention, but when that isn’t happening, she usually goes and lays on the sofa, or goes on the bed. She gets along fine with her fur-foster brothers and is respectful with her foster dad’s things. She is housetrained and mellow. Ziva loves people, all people, and would like to stop and greet every person she meets on her walks. Her foster dad thinks her keen social nature and mellow temperament makes her a good possibility for a therapy dog. Due to her weight and inactivity in the past we are looking for someone committed to her health and weight loss. She would be fine with children but we do not know about cats.
