Jack

Jack

With great sadness, we are sharing the news that our wonderful boy, Jack has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.  We adopted him almost six years ago at the age of nine.  He had Addison’s Disease and only through the love and devotion of his SCGGR foster mom, did Jack survive and thrive. We were so lucky to have him join our family.

Jack was a character, often making us laugh with his antics but totally devoted to his family and fur brother and sister.  He reached his 15th birthday in March, but along the way suffered strokes and a seizure.  At one point, his back legs failed him, but Jack was so determined and fought back to gain strength and balance to be able to go on walks again.  He had such a strong will to stay with his family. When things get tough for me, I tell myself “Be like Jack.”

Unfortunately, his trials took a toll on Jack and his eyes told me that it was time to rest.  It has been very hard for our family, and he has left a wide hole in our world. But we know Jack is now strong, without pain and running free.
