About Me

Our sweet boy, Biscuit found his way into our rescue following a bite from a rattlesnake which was unfortunately discovered 3 days following the incident. Knowing the costs, severity and the long-term recovery if he was to even have a chance at surviving, his owners made the difficult choice to surrender him to their veterinarian. We were immediately contacted and made the decision to support Biscuit through the care he needed. Given Biscuit’s delayed medical attention, his road to recovery was extremely challenging, touch and go to say the least for the first several weeks. Fortunately for our experienced veterinary team, multiple surgeries and an abundance of supportive care, he was able to pull through after 2 long months in the hospital. We are thrilled that he’s now fully recovered and ready for his forever family!

Biscuit is a loving and affectionate dog. He’s good with children and loves to be near his foster family. He absolutely loves all the attention he’s been receiving; independence is not his thing. Biscuit also has a love for his plushy toys, his duck being his favorite. Given his long stay at the hospital, Biscuit needs some focus and training on his obedience commands. His foster family has actively been working on everything with him. He’s great on leash walks and appreciates his daily strolls. He is moderately active but also appreciates lounging at your feet during the workday. Biscuit has warmed his way into the hearts of his fosters and managed to negotiate real estate on the couch and snuggles at night in their bed. He welcomes all visitors and delivery people but has proven to not appreciate the trash truck.

My Ideal Home

The perfect home for Biscuit is with a moderately to less active household who wants to complete their family with a loving fur friend. Kids above 6 years are okay. Biscuit would like a yard but not an absolute must as long as he gets out for multiple walks a day. He is fully potty trained. Additionally, Biscuit needs a parent committed to helping with him training. In return, he will offer his gentle loyalty and tons of love simply lounging by your side.
