I’m Blondie (nicknamed Reina by my Foster family because I’m such a queen). One look into my stunning amber eyes and you’ll be hooked. I was owner relinquished to a vet in February, with very little to no info provided but have been thriving with my Foster family ever since and am excited to start my new life with my forever family.
While still a puppy, I am incredibly smart (in fact Foster Mom says I am the perfect dog). I am fully housebroken and will ask to be let outside when I need to go. I understand basic commands like “sit”, “stay”, “down” and “come” and know my boundaries well. A firm “no” is all it takes to get me to relinquish something I shouldn’t have or leave a place I shouldn’t be.
I am a very active girl. A good walk or run first thing in the morning will usually satisfy me until evening, but I’m always up to play with other dogs or have a game of fetch. Otherwise, I am happy relaxing in my dog bed or at your feet, if you’re working, with a good chew stick or toy.
I am also very affectionate and loyal. I love attention, especially belly rubs, and snuggling on the couch or in the dog bed with my Foster family’s dog. I will let you know there is someone at the door before the doorbell even rings but will settle immediately when instructed.
I would love a place to do zoomies and run, so a home with an enclosed yard is high on my list of desires or at least an active family that will give me lots of opportunities to exercise my mind and body.
My Ideal Home
My ideal home has someone who is home most of the time. I am still learning, so I need someone to help set boundaries and teach me how to get the most out of life. I would love a yard and an active family to expose me to all that life has to offer. Some older kids to play with in the yard, would be great! If you think you would be the perfect family to spend your life with me and you’ve already completed your application and In Home Interview, please email my Rep letting her know why I should pick you to share my life with.
