About Me
Meet sweet Posh! Posh is an approximately 5 year old female who came into SCGRR when her owners were relocating. Upon coming into rescue and after being vetted, Posh was underweight and had severe skin issues.
While in foster care, her personality has started to shine and her red locks are starting to grow back. In addition, with good nutrition, she is gaining weight. Her forever family will need to continue with fish oil and skin supplements.
Posh is currently living with some canine friends and enjoys playing with them throughout the day and night. She has been the perfect house guest and is fine left inside the home for a few hours while her foster family is out. Posh will alert when she needs outside to potty and hasn’t had an accident inside the home. Her foster family has her on a daily routine of feeding, play, sleep, walks, and park time. She has adapted well and knows when it is time to go to the park to see humans and canine friends.
She LOVES to fetch a ball. Posh also rides well in the car. She knows a lot of commands – sit, stay, high five, lie down, drop it, leave it and come. She is a very bright dog and mastered the household stairs in one day! Posh has great leash manners and wears a harness willingly. Click on Video!
Posh sleeps well throughout the night swapping between the dog bed and floor.
My Ideal Home
Posh will do well in a variety of homes. She loves to play tug of war with her foster siblings and loves to greet everyone, both human and canine, at the park. Posh would love to have a furry canine sibling to play with as well as hang out with her. She also loves her humans to be home as much as possible. She would do well with a family or an individual who wants to shower her with love and cuddles.
