It is with heavy hearts and unbearable grief that Mike and I announce that SCGRR alumni Sadie passed into the loving arms of the Good Shepherd on April 3, 2022.

Sadie came into our lives in July of 2009 , after an introduction via our SCGRR rep at that time, Heike. It was love at first sight. Sadie was not just our “pet”…she was family. Our hearts are shattered over her loss. We now attempt to navigate a new normal, as does her confused and sad fur-brother Max, also an owner-surrendered Golden “rescue”.

Thank you Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue for all you do…and for the greatest gift of 13 ½  years with this precious angel.
